Staying “Active” as a Brand Partner | Lifewave
Did you know that as a Lifewave Brand Partner you have zero sales quotas and zero purchase requirements? As a matter of fact, you could go ALL year without making a single Lifewave purchase, but still remain a Brand Partner as long as you pay the $25 annual fee.
If you do, however, plan to sell the patches (or you think you may sell the patches in the future), it’s vital for you to understand what having an “active” status means, and how to remain active so that you can have a financial advantage!
While you can remain a Lifewave Brand Partner by simply paying $25 a year, keeping your Brand Partner status is NOT the same thing as “staying active”.
What Does Staying Active as a Brand Partner Mean?
To put it in the simplest way possible, “staying active” as a Brand Partner initially means you’re purchasing at least 1 sleeve of patches every month…. BUT let me further explain because there’s more to it.
If you’re starting out as a Brand Partner, and you want to keep an active status, you need to have 55 PV (or personal volume) every month. But what the heck does 55 PV mean?
Personal volume (or PV) is Lifewave’s way of calculating points for purchases you’ve made. Each patch or product has a specific PV tied to it:
1 sleeve of X39 or X49 counts as 77 PV
1 sleeve of the other patches (i.e. Alavida, SP6, Aeon, Glutathione, Carnosine, Icewave, Energy Enchancer, Silent Nights) counts as 55 PV
This means you could maintain an active Brand Partner status by purchasing 1 sleeve of patches EVERY MONTH, regardless of the patch type (as long as you do not already have a ‘Manager’ Brand Partner rank or higher). Just be aware if you purchase over 55 PV of patches (or Lifewave product) for the month, the extra PV will NOT carry over to the following month.
Once your Brand Partner rank changes to Manager (meaning you have 4 Brand Partners signed up under you with 2 on the Left Leg of your Binary Tree, and 2 on the Right Leg of your Binary Tree), you’ll need 110 PV (or personal volume) every month to stay active.
This means you could maintain an active Brand Partner status (if Manager rank) by purchasing at least 2 sleeves of patches EVERY MONTH, regardless of the patch type. Just be aware if you purchase over 110 PV of patches (or Lifewave product) for the month, the extra PV will NOT carry over to the following month.
I won’t go into the higher Brank Partner ranks, and what you need to do to stay active because most people coming to my page are likely just now signing up as Brand Partners, and I don’t want to make things even more confusing.
Exceptions!!!
If you don’t want to make a purchase every month, there are two other ways to stay active for a longer period of time. I actually highly suggest using one of these methods to save on shipping and get a deeper discount on the patches!
Maintenance Packs - Maintenance Packs are only available for purchase AFTER you’ve signed up as a Brand Partner. If you’re okay with purchasing more than 1 sleeve at a time, this is 100% the way to go.
These are the Maintenance Packs you can choose from.
LifeWave X39/ X49 Maintenance Pack 1 - This will keep you active for 3 months with 77 BV for each month.
LifeWave X39/ X49 Maintenance Pack 2 - This will keep you active for 6 months with 77 BV for each month.
LifeWave X39/ X49 Maintenance Pack 3 - This will keep you active for 6 months with 110 BV for each month.
Maintenance Pack 1 - This will keep you active for 6 months with 55 BV for each month.
Maintenance Pack 2 - This will keep you active for 6 months with 117 BV for each month.
To purchase one of the maintenance packs, once you sign up as a Brand Partner, simply log into your back office account, click ‘store’, then ‘maintenance kits’. Note - Retail and preferred customers do not have access to purchase maintenance packs.
Upgrade to the Premium Enrollment Kit - This can be pricey to do, but if you upgrade your enrollment kit to Premium, this will give you an active status for 3 months. This is actually the only Brand Partner Enrollment Kit that allows you to stay active longer than one month.
With the Premium Enrollment Kit, you’ll receive 525 PV for the 1st month, and 110 PV for the 2nd and 3rd month.
To upgrade enrollment kits, simply log into your back office account, click ‘store’, then ‘upgrade kits’.
Why is it Important to Keep an Active Brand Partner Status if I Plan to Sell and Make Commission?
Even if you haven’t started selling the patches yet, it’s in your best interest to stay active so that you can start accumulating points (or business volume (BV)) from the work your upline does. Yes, that’s right! You can benefit financially from the work your upline does! So what does this mean exactly? Brand Partners who are above you can sign up people underneath you on your Binary Tree, and you can benefit financially from that business volume in what Lifewave calls “cycle bonuses”.
While you will not benefit immediately from that business volume, the points are being stashed away to use once you meet all requirements to earn commission.
Brand Partner Back Office Account
In the screenshot above, you’ll see that this specific Brand Partner currently has an active status, and has been accumulating business volume in her left binary leg where it says Total LV (aka Total Left Volume) over the course of several months. While this Brand Partner has personally only enrolled one Brand Partner on her binary tree so far, she is still accumulating business volume on her left binary leg from the work her upline is doing. As for her right binary leg, she does not have a Brand Partner signed up under her right leg yet, nor does she have help from her upline on this leg. The volume you see under Total RV (760) are actually points she has accumulated from her own purchases (or personal volume). While she has a decent amount of business volume racked up, she is not receiving a commission from it yet.
So what does it take to start receiving cycle bonuses? You will need to personally sign up at least 2 people as Brand Partners underneath you. To further clarify:
You will need to sign up 1 Brand Partner on the left side of your binary tree, and 1 Brand Partner on the right side of your binary tree.
Both Brand Partners that you personally sign up need to have an active status. A good tip for keeping an active status is auto-subscribe!
You need to have at least 330 Total LV, and 660 Total RV, or vise versa.
SUMMARY
As mentioned earlier, to stay an active Brand Partner, it’s important to have 55 PV every month, OR if your Brand Partner rank is Manager, you need to have 110 PV to stay active.
While it seems reasonable to assume you could purchase multiple patch sleeves during the month of February, and have the excess PV (personal volume) roll over to March, it unfortunately does not work that way. The extra PV from February would NOT roll over to March, and you would in fact lose your “active status” if you did not make a new purchase in March. Not only that, but any BV (business volume) that you accumulated from staying active will unfortunately be wiped out. Your business volume will reset to zero, and you will have to start all over again with accumulating BV (business volume) for potential weekly bonus earnings.
The rule above DOES NOT apply IF you decide to purchase a maintenance pack, OR upgrade your enrollment kit to Premium. By doing one of these, you can stay active much longer than 1 month.
Just remember - You DON’T have to keep an active status to remain a Brand Partner or get discounted pricing. The benefit of keeping an active status is you’re accumulating points (aka business volume (BV) that you can get paid on in the future once you have at least 2 Brand Partners signed up under you (1 on the Left Leg of your Binary Tree and 1 on the Right Leg of your Binary Tree).
This is why if you have a sliver of interest in selling the patches, go ahead and sign up as a Brand Partner, and remain active so you can start gaining business volume (BV) from the start!
Lastly, the best way to ensure you keep an active Brand Partner status is to either auto-subscribe, OR purchase one of the maintenance kits (which can be accessed AFTER you sign up as a Brand Partner).
