My Review of the LifeWave X49 Patch
My obsession with LifeWave started over a year ago when I witnessed the X39 patch doing miraculous things to my body. I almost couldn’t believe the changes that were happening all from a little patch that looks like a sticker! I had more energy, less pain on my period, stronger, longer nails, and my dry eye symptoms were practically non-existent after wearing the patch for several months. My love for the X39 patch was and still is deep, but I became curious about the other 10 phototherapy patches that LifeWave sells, and if I’m being totally honest, I wanted to try them all as soon as humanly possible…because I was (and still am) so invested in the company after witnessing the miracles of the X39 patch!
If I’m remembering correctly, the X49 patch was the second or third LifeWave patch that I tried after several months of solely wearing the X39 patch. Looking back on it now, it wouldn’t have been a good idea to try all the different patches at once (even if I could afford it) because I wouldn’t have been able to tell what was working for me and what I could do without.

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the X49 patch, but I did hear that it can help with hair growth.. so because of that, the X49 was on the top of my list of patches to try. I had lost a significant amount of hair after living in mold for quite some time (especially around my hairline), and I wanted to see what it could do for me.
The changes I experienced after wearing the X49 patch for a few months (for 12 hours on, 12 hours off) every day were not what I was expecting, but that’s not to say I wasn’t pleasantly surprised! I promise I will share my experience with you further down the article, but first want to discuss a few things…
How the X49 Patch Works
Every phototherapy patch that LifeWave offers has it’s place, and with the X49 patch, it was designed to elevate levels of the copper peptide known as AHK-Cu - all done with phototherapy technology that uses your body’s own invisible infrared light. No outside light sources are needed either! When your body’s infrared light shines onto the X49 patch (or any LifeWave patch for that matter), a very specific light code or frequency reflects back into the body sending healing instructions throughout the body. Like the X39 patch and all LifeWave patches, absolutely no ingredients from the patches are absorbed by the body, which is why you can place a LifeWave patch on the inside of your clothing and it will still work even it it’s not touching your skin!
Let’s Talk about Copper Peptide AHK-Cu
Copper peptide AHK-Cu, not to be confused with GHK-Cu (think X39 patch), has been scientifically proven to help with strength, stamina, recovery, cardiovascular health, increasing bone density and muscle growth, fat loss when during intense workouts, and even hair growth! There are plenty of studies done on the benefits of AHK-Cu so I highly recommend checking them out yourself.
Rather than injecting myself with a synthetic copper peptide like many people do, I would much prefer to wear a phototherapy patch that’s capable of instructing my body to produce my own AHK-Cu. Wouldn’t you too? It still baffles my mind that no drugs, stimulants, or ingredients actually enter the body when you wear any of the LifeWave patches.

Here’s What I Experienced Wearing the X49 Patch
I noticed that I was building muscle mass more easily after my workouts.
I do strength training workouts 5-6 times a week using a variation of dumbbells, ankle weights, and resistance bands, and what I noticed is after wearing the X49 for a few months, I was building muscle mass more quickly and easily, and I still am!
I noticed tiny baby hairs sprouting up around my hairline.
While my hair growth has not been significant enough to show photographic evidence, I know for a fact that the X49 was helping regrow my hair. I say “was” because recently I had a relapse in my health and have been dealing with a difficult lyme flare over the last several months. As a result of this, I have unfortunately lost a tremendous amount of hair again, and whatever hair I did gain from the X49 patch is mostly gone for now. I still have hope that the X49 patch will help regrow my hair once I recover from my lyme flareup though.
I noticed that my average resting heart rate had significantly lowered!
This one was a total shocker for me because I’ve never heard anyone talk about it before, but the X49 patch is the only thing that makes sense to me. Ever since I can remember or at least for the last decade, my resting heart rate has always been on average 70-80 bpm, which seems high in my opinion. Well, when I had a life insurance physical last December and got the results back, I noticed that my resting heart rate was around 50 bpm. I couldn’t believe it and thought the nurse mistakenly wrote down that number, so what did I do? I grabbed my mom’s pulse oximeter and tested my resting heart rate, and it was 54 bpm. I was still shocked, so I tested my resting heart rate a few more days in a row, and it was still lower than what I was used to - always between 50 and 60 bpm. To this day, I’m still amazed, and to be clear, I am not a high performance athlete and nothing has changed significantly in my typical exercise routine.
The X49 patch is actually in my top 4 favorite LifeWave patches and I still wear it to this day. I will say that lately I haven’t been as consistent about wearing it, and would like to get back into the routine of wearing it daily again. The X39 patch will always be my favorite, followed by either Alavida, Carnosine or X49. It’s hard to choose the order of which one I like more, but I just know that my top 4 favorite LifeWave patches are X39, X49, Alavida, and Carnosine.
